SOUTH AUSTRALIAN MYSTERIES OF THOMAS HENRY SMITH
Research into T. H. Smith’s life in South Australia uncovered letters in the archives of the South Australian Records Office that Smith had written from Port Adelaide and nearby Alberton. Alberton is the home of the famous Port Adelaide Football Club. The letters were written around the time of the formation of that club. On consultation with the Port Adelaide Historical Society, the then Secretary decided to write, based on my findings, his own submission to the historical society’s periodical The Portonian. This is the result.
