ODE TO THE RAIN

The wind washes wispy patterns

Of jazz fusion rain

Across the Laserlite sheeting

That spans our outdoor living area (patio)

It’s so lovely I can hardly describe it

The sound of the rain that is

Not the Laserlite

Which is just your bog-standard polycarbonate bronze range sheeting

No, the rain

There’s a rhythm in the rain
